(1885 - 1962)
Finalized the

QuantumPhysics.
Known for saying:
"A great truth is a statement whose opposite is also a great truth."
Niels Bohr was a glory hound. His Papers:
N. Bohr, Phil. Mag. 26, 1 (1913)
N. Bohr, Phil. Mag. 27, 506 (1914)
Were not correct and were superseded by work published by Heisenberg,
Schroedinger, Dirac, Einstein and others. Bohr was known for being
tyrannical towards peers that dared to disagree with him, in essence
reducing scientific inquiry to school yard bullying...
Max Planck first conceived of quantized mechanics. (Theory of Heat)
M. Planck, Ann. d. Phys. (4) 4, 553 (1901)
No less a figure than Linus Pauling attributes the corrected or new Quantum
Mechanics to a paper by Heisenberg
W. Heisenberg, Z. f. Phys. 33, 879 (1925)
