Craig completed a PhD thesis in Software Engineering in the School of Engineering and Computer Science at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand in 2013. Craig was a part of the
ElvisSoftwareDesignResearchGroup. Craig was supervised by
JamesNoble,
RobertBiddle, and
StuartMarshall. Craig is now working at the University of Calgary.

- Visualizing software in particular open source software to find interesting patterns of behaviour
- Applying information visualisation techniques to software
- Creating better user interfaces for developer tools
- Building application Wikis
