Author of several books of simple tone and warm human fibre, some often read by or to children, many of which have been translated from their native French into English.

Antoine de Saint-Exupery was a professional pilot doing "nightflights" on South America. He crashed as an Allied pilot during WW II near Cannes.

His most famous quote is probably PerfectionIsAchieved.
