One of the developers of the original AdaGenericLibrary in 1985. He was asked to develop a similar library for C++ in 1987, but C++ didn't have templates at the time.

Father of the CeePlusPlus StandardTemplateLibrary (with MengLee) and second only in C++ language-legal circles to BjarneStroustrup.
